Household Items That Get You High
The 2011 Grammy Awards highlights
The 53rd. Grammy Awards had everything, for all tastes and ages, from teenage fans of Justin Bieber even more adults who understand the Barbra Streisand discography
The celebrities went through the red carpet wearing their best clothes, in which stood white and gold. One of the most anticipated was Lady Gaga, who came within an egg at the red carpet, which caused more excited about his attire. Among Latinos in the night we could see Jennifer Lopez, who literally shone with her dress, the hand of her beloved Marc Anthony and Ricky Martin, who left us blown away with those gray tights worn throughout the event.
The ceremony began with a tribute to Aretha Franklin, made by 5 big English music: Jennifer Hudson, Martina McBride, Florence Welch, Yolanda Adams and Christina Aguilera (who again made the bear tripped on stage), who performed a medley with the successes of the "Queen of Soul", such as 'Respect', 'Think' and 'Is not no way'.
Ricky Martin appeared onstage to introduce Lady Gaga, who first performed "Born this way ', in a performance that was not bad, but to be Lady Gaga, expecting something much more interesting.
Miranda Lambert, Muse and Lady Antebellum also showed their talent with its presentation. Tó Miranda Lambert sang his hit 'The House That built me', while the British band, presented by none other than Lenny Kravitz, played 'Uprising' of his hit album 'The resistance', with which they took the Grammy for best rock album. For his part, sang his winning Lady Antebellum 'Need You Now', a song that made the group the big winner of the night
The Grammys increased their teen audience with a performance by Justin Bieber, who played 'Never say never' with Jaden Smith, then with Usher, his godfather, sang and danced 'OMG'.
One of the most applauded performances was of "new faces" Bruno Mars, BoB and Janelle Monáe, set in the early 50s, black and white, sang "Nothin 'On You,' 'Grenade' and 'Cold War'.
For lovers of bluegrass music, appeared Mumford & Sons, Avett Brothers and Bob Dylan, who sang their classic 'Maggie's Farm'.
we believe that one of the best performances of the night for fun and colorful, was the Cee-Lo Green, a colorful and huge plume (making us think that it was he who hatched Lady Gaga), and Gwyneth Paltrow, who were accompanied by puppets to sing 'Forget you, "the clean version of' F *** you."
Katy Perry, that sounds like 'Quinceañera', appeared on stage on a swing, singing 'Not like the movies', as was the romantic moment of the night, while projected images of her marriage to Russell Brand. Then he sang 'Teenage Dream'.
