Analogy Analogy: 40 Years Without Brian Jones

July 3 This Friday marks the 40th year, four decades without the genius founder of The Rolling Stones , the enigmatic Brian Jones , a "simple" rhythm guitarist who had the band from its founding until 1969 ...

But Brian Jones was not just a musician of the Stones, he was THE MUSICIAN OF STONES, a real talent to be the instrument that was, I knew to touch, to whom we owe the zither Paint It Black? Or marimbas Under My Thumb? And all these effects and genius of the songs from the Stones? clear, Brian Jones.

Interestingly, with full orchestra, Jones was always the quieter of the Stones, so much so that was overshadowed by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, who would be mainly songwriters more representative, and it is said that Jones's sinned shyness, especially when wanting to show their compositions, which were well say style Bob Dylan.

This Friday, at 40 years of death, is still remembered as the most mysterious and the first in the Club of 27 (see HERE ), killing a July 3, 1969, after drowning in his swimming pool access, because to an overdose.

40 years without the talent of BRIAN JONES.
