Birmingham Bathhouse Gay

The beginning of a decade

Although it seems that no, we're looking at the cinematic calendar in September, the start of the race for Oscars, the last stage of the year. 2010, the first year of the decade, can be described with many adjectives, but in my opinion, these adjectives sound to it as a compliment. We all remember last March as the new strategy for the Academy to nominate 10 films was a total failure, as lovers of film and audience will be watching an independent film had the oscars Belize more important. Deservedly not lacking, but it was one of those movies that become big because they have no major awards. Now as the previous year Slumdog Millionaire, filled with prizes (among others to win the game in Inglorious Basterds script) will not be so well treated and remembered. The audience was with films like Avatar and as the academy and had nominated other commercial films as Up, District 9 and The Blind Side, the Avatar award seemed imminent. Movie lovers were with the staff of the Coen films, the simplicity of Up in the air and above all, Tarantino, the perfect combination of business-entertainment-lesson regardless of films of the year. But how bad is that the academy did not entirely happy or public or movie lovers.

Now a new career ahead. 10 films will be the lucky ones to qualify for the award this year. Black Swan, 127 hours, The Kids Are All Right, Somewere, Hereafter, Social Networks etc. The little bit they have receiv praise and criticism, some with a view to reinforcing its official release and other cheating. It does not matter, we take long to see them all and say. We do not have to go into advertising war films that attempt to break into the race with all the compliments they have received in other festivals.

We must look back and remember that movie to see among the options released. With this rule Polasnki and Scorsese to Shutter Island and The ghost writer are the first choices clearer. Looking a bit more at the box office disappointment not to see more: Alicia, Robin Hood, etc. One of the few that really liked was Kick ass, a little movie premiable, although the academy who knows? So we

this summer, the summer of Nolan and Inception. No doubt that is a cinematic spectacle like the Academy, the level of District 9 last year (which will not be forgotten that got nomination) or better. Although in my opinion not to be as perfect as expected and have a script at times somewhat loose enough to hurt him when there is a tie.

In short movies have four options to be among the 10 nominees for the last six months. Not a very good figure. No foreign film has drawn attention in the Unidea. He really deserves punishment nominate ten films? Finally we

Toy Story, one of the best movies in what we are going this year. will be named among the top 10 but not awarded or even the best by far, a pity, but true.

Now the eye away from the Oscars, and putting more my eye on the prize REDNA this server delivers the best films of the year very few movies have convinced me (I know I'm missing a lot of criticism for publishing, not when you have a little more time and some want to see them again before criticizing them.) We have had many controversies: Canine, Two lovers, Mr Nobody, Inception, Room in Rome, etc. Air doll. Too much controversy for very little objectivity. Only films like Toy Story 3 and Elly Apropos me wonder. City in the background of life and death and Mr nobody but as mere films are the best of the current billboard but with several "buts" to name as the best of the year.

Last year at this time and had seen great films that have won awards after the awards REDNA, such as walking Still, A Christmas Carol, Coraline or Goodbye Solo. And that's not all, at this time we had seen the movie a few months later triumph in the Oscars, not to mention the controversies of Antichrist and Public Enemies or genius of Inglorious Basterds and Up
Jewels of all genres and from all over the world and this year we have even half of the half.

are many reasons for the decline cinematography, small theaters and cinemas are closed up prices. Producers are seeing money comes to your table while the public asks for something more. As we enter another decade is the best time to reflect, to remember the decade that was not bad and it gives us made great movies. Reflect on the course all you have to take this new decade, to continue making us unforgettable moments and we continue to fall in love.

Greetings to all.

Plan B, How Long Is It In Your System

Movies that I never tire of seeing the latest

aside the best movies of history, there is another rather curious list: Movies do not get bored of seeing and you're on the twentieth viewing. These movies can be works of master or not, but I love the feeling you leave. Get on that feeling of morality and happiness ... It's indescribable. There are many works of art that we claim but we did not see anymore, with a better viewing. There are others that you like more the second time, but there remains the thing. Others do not like anything at first viewing, but when the time for the second time, without any kind of expectation (And knowing what you'll find) you encnatan. Well, I do not speak of such films. I talk about movies you've seen at least 5 times and you still do not get bored. It's the best definition I can write to define what are my favorite movies. Pirates of the Caribbean, Terminator, Star Wars, etc are films I've seen many times, movies you see and say "This is commercial cinema" You have fun, you love and you entertain. But for me the most important films are: 1-

Back to the Future:

The top of the list is an example of commercial film aventutas dyes, science fiction, action and comedy that few movies have. And if we add up the style teen has the first part of the trilogy (The best of all by far) I can talk about this movie as a work of art entretetenimiento.

2-The Dark Knight:

One of my favorite movies of the decade. A fireworks display very deep, a police thriller in the style of Mann. Great cast and a superb script make it a powerful and entertaining film. 6 or 7 viewings of this film with all sorts of people and in 7 different locations make it a hat movie continues you to speak after her. Brilliant.

3-Sweeney Todd:

My weakness for Burton is patented more than ever in this film, a bloody tale for adults with a great cast and excellent technical sections. But the word that best describes it for me is: Mesmer. I can not take even a second's eyes during the viewing screen and still falling for the simplicity with which it presents music as a catapult into what it is: One of the best movies of Burton.

4-Any Tarantino (except Jackie Brown and Good Death proff)

If I am of those who know of a running many of the dialogues of Tarantino's films (fiction and Overcoat Reservoirg Pult dogs) I love see Tarantino plays with the viewer, making him hang out really nice. Tarantino wrote the script from film history that I present her artistic talents for nearly two decades. Within its "Believed" is a very intelligent person who has seen much film and knows what the public would love. Too bad it takes 3 or 4 years on average to make a movie.

5-The Marx Brothers

My father, a fan of the Marx Brothers made me 5 or 6 years, this trio of films with characters that I laughed out loud and yet I still do. His movies are hilarious, sometimes I lloradado of laughter. 70 years after one has reached the level of A Night at the Opera and Duck Soup, their masterpieces. Legendary scenes and unforgettable characters that whenever you see on the screen inuminan life (already expressed Woody Allen in Hannah and Her Sisters) Only with screwball comedies Wilder, Brooks with parodies such as The o The young Frankesnteis producers or creators of the life of Brian and The Knights of the square table remind us what is one of the most underrated genres in the history of comedy. A laugh is worth more than a tear.

All these movies I fall in love every time I see and I do enjoy every detail of the film.

your turn now, what with the movies that have seen more times and I still love?

Greetings to all.

Recommendation travel: The Road to Santiago

This new section of recommendations that opens the blog. Because we all need to take a break from everyday life and for that we have to travel, visit other places, etc. Travel is an indispensable thing in my life, especially in summer.

One trip that marked me most was that I did this summer on the road to Santiago. All day walk not only know all sorts of places, they know all sorts of people and above all, you know yourself. It opens your eyes to life, with plenty of anecdotes to tell.

People around the world come in search of peace and tranquility, spirituality. It is one of the best recommendations to meet a large part of Spain. My journey began in Somport, the border between Spain and France. From there we went down to Jaca, a city heavily populated province of Huesca. Through villages with only 50 inhabitants (One uninhabited even by extreme care by the rising reservoir water volume Yesa called Ruesta.) arrived in Navarra. Seems little travel, but walk no less than 175 km. In travel find lush forests, straight roads that never end, hilly sections, long grass and gardens, etc. Learn to appreciate food, to appreciate a place to sleep, to assess the secondary aspects of life.

Next year I will continue where I left off, perhaps alone, perhaps accompanied, as it tapped into the last summer before college to go.

Here I leave a couple of songs that sounded like 10 times a day surrounded by nature and I recommend you go to all for a few days of peace and tranquility

may have become in my favorite songs lol.

This is where I read The Road. The times in which I sat to rest a bit he read some pages of the book of Miguel Delibes. Then I had my way.

Next year we will have to repeat another short week.

Greetings to all.
