gala "Also the rain What's next?"

English cinema has been stalled for several years. Few films fully convinced audiences and critics. This year the homeland is the only film I did not disappoint. I have seen little, true, but convincing. Buried or movies like Sad Ballad not seen every year. The list also joins the rain the last film Bollain. It is the English representative in the category of best foreign language film.

A priori it seemed to me no good idea to choose a movie that had not seen the public and will be released in January. I like my words, I loved the film. Cell 211 is better and certainly our best representatives for the Oscar in years, just from Back (That did not get the nomination but that's another subject jajaj) Towards

years that a English film movie failed in all. A stunning technical section (The perfect scenery, beautiful music, good sound work, special eject stunning, very elegant photography), a story well told and performed with mastery of hand Bollain and of course, an outstanding cast.

I love the parallel with the playing Bollain. On the one hand a group of people try to shoot a movie about Columbus. On the other Bolivians are the only thing they want is to survive. They are taking the water, the only thing that separates them between life and death. That makes us look back in history, but nothing has changed, though Spain does not control the government of countries like Bolivia for many years. It is shocking to see how they filming the movie in which criticize the authoritarianism of Columbus and his stand against the natives but that it is happening a few miles from there.

"All we have known is the repression, know no other thing. So do not trust anyone, "suggested the president of Columbia in the film. The film goes where few films arrive. It is a reflection on our Latin American presence or English, on our current government, which still do not give the basics for survival is degrading. Them if they are in the stone age.

Apart from this series of reflections the film deserves a round of applause for one simple reason: This very well done.

The bad: it lacks that "something" that prevents you from being a masterpiece.
best: I see the film with many options for the Oscar (best Biutiful is no doubt we'll see what movies through the first cut)
